Multi-Purpose Antenna Keywords: Signal intelligence (SIGINT), intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Abstract: Military aircraft have numerous antennas and systems on them for VHF/UHF line-of-sight (LOS) satellite communications (SATCOM), L-band, and global positioning system (GPS) functions, creating issues with available space, increasing weight, and total drag. This 30-year old firm is developing a multi-function antenna technology to incorporate these capabilities into a single aperture, ultra-wideband, multi-purpose antenna (MPA). This will save valuable space for future additions and reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI) between components. The company specializes in research and development for products related to radio frequency (RF) antennas for commercial and military applications. In addition to the initial transition target, the E-2C Hawkeye, the technology would benefit any aircraft, vehicle, ship, or submarine requiring advanced SATCOM capabilities. The company seeks to develop relationships with interested parties. Presentation: Tuesday, 12:00pm - 12:20pm in Tidewater II Booth: P18 |
