Adaptive User-Guided Multimodal ENhanced Troubleshooter (AUGMENT) Keywords: Intelligent Agents, Training, Maintenance, Information Retrieval, Natural Language Processing Abstract: The system provides intelligent agent-based adaptive training for novice equipment maintainers in addition to an intelligent search capability to find records of maintenance cases with similar symptoms. The technology will support maintenance activities on a variety of platforms found at Marine Corp Logistics Bases (MCLB). The information retrieval database has been populated with real maintenance record data from commercial vehicle maintenance records to prove the concept; we have applied an innovative natural language processing to aid in search. This company has applied artificial intelligence technology to a wide variety of operational problems for Government and private sector customers for 25+ years and seeks to partner with an LSI to provide training and search capabilities to accompany their platforms or license technology directly to maintenance depots.
