It consists of the unmanned system control and air vehicle elements and is highly consistent with the emerging Department of Defense mandates for unmanned air systems open architectures and associated data link and weapon interface standards. Initially targeted for the Fire Scout, this architecture has been demonstrated with a major corporation's laser guided weapon. The model driven design facilitates cross platform portability and its design for reconfiguration make it weapon agnostic. Funds are in hand for flight test mid calendar year 2010. Funds are sought for full implementation to any unmanned system with weapon integration requirements and for technology application to non-weapons payload integration.
